Founded in 2021 by Dr. Ufuoma O-A, Forest City Training embarked on a mission to enhance community safety through high-quality CPR and First Aid training. Born from a deep-seated passion for fostering a safer environment, we address the critical need for accessible, engaging, and comprehensive emergency response education. Our unique approach combines practical, hands-on training with a commitment to inclusivity, ensuring each participant can handle life-threatening situations. Hi, I'm Dr. Ufuoma O-Awomosu, the founder and lead instructor at Forest City Training. With over 20 years of experience as a provider and 12 years as a trainer, I've had the privilege of certifying over 5,000 providers across Africa, the US, India, and Canada. My certifications include Canadian Hearts & Stroke, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross, reflecting my commitment to delivering top-tier training.

Teaching is my passion, and outside of work, you'll often find me immersed in a book, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or dancing to my favorite tunes. My journey into CPR and first aid training began during my medical school days. I was part of an emergency where, despite our best efforts, we lacked the necessary skills to provide effective CPR. Later, as a physician in the emergency and trauma room, I saw firsthand how skilled first aid and CPR could have made a significant difference in many critical situations. These experiences fueled my determination to enhance CPR knowledge among the public and improve life support skills among healthcare personnel.

With 20 years of experience, I'm dedicated to empowering as many people as possible with the knowledge and skills to save lives. I aim to teach and inspire confidence and readiness to act in emergencies. Join me at Forest City Training, and let's make a difference together.
